Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the website www.villemipubid.ee and the pages of all our pubs. Our pubs are City Pub (Pärnu, opening soon), Scottish House (Keila), C.F. Hahn Pub, Münchner, Mõnus Villem, Sweet Rosie, The Dubliner and Vana Villem (Tallinn).

The controller of your personal data is:

  • Vana Villemi Kõrtsid OÜ
  • Registry code 10966146
  • Address Tartu mnt 50, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia
  • Email for privacy questions: psyhead@gmail.com

In short: we only collect the data we need to handle your table booking or message. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Table bookings

What data we collect

When you book a table through our website, we ask for:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number
  • the number of guests
  • the date and time you would like
  • additional notes, if you wish to add any
  • confirmation that you agree to the terms

In the notes field you can mention, for example, a food allergy or that you are celebrating a birthday. Please only write what we need to know to serve you, and do not add any other personal or sensitive information. We use information about allergies only to serve you safely.

Why and on what legal basis

We use this data to accept your booking, send you a confirmation by email, manage the booking and contact you if needed, for example if something about the booking changes. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation).

How long we keep it

The booking is stored in the website database. Your personal data is automatically deleted or anonymised 90 days after the date of your visit. Emails about the booking also reach the pub’s mailbox, where we keep them only for as long as they are needed.

Spam protection

To prevent misuse, the form has a hidden field that people cannot see and a limit on how many times it can be sent within a short period. For this we use your IP address for a short time and delete this information soon after. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the website against spam and misuse (Article 6(1)(f)).

Contact form

What data we collect

Through the contact form we ask for your name, email address, optionally your phone number, your message and confirmation that you agree to the terms.

Why and on what legal basis

Your message is sent by email to the mailbox of the pub you wrote to, so that we can reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f)). If you ask about a booking or our services, the basis is also taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

How long we keep it

We do not store contact form messages in the website database. Only a technical sending log remains, and it contains no personal data. The message is kept in the pub’s mailbox for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. The contact form also has a limit on how many messages can be sent within a short period.

Who receives your data

Your data is only seen by those of our staff who handle bookings and messages. We also use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

  • Zone Media OÜ (Estonia) provides web hosting and sends emails from the address broneeringud@villemipubid.ee.
  • Google provides the pubs’ email mailboxes (Gmail), where booking and contact form emails arrive.

We may also disclose data to public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Google services on our pages

  • Google Maps: our contact pages show a Google map. When the map loads, Google may receive your IP address and device data and use cookies.
  • Google reCAPTCHA: our pages may use Google reCAPTCHA, which helps tell people apart from bots. For this, Google receives technical data about your device and browser.
  • Google Fonts: some of the fonts on our pages are loaded from Google’s servers, which means your IP address reaches Google.

You can read more about these services in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Transfers outside the European Union

Our web hosting is located in Estonia. We do not transfer data outside the European Union ourselves. Google may also process data outside the European Union, for example in the USA. In that case Google uses the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are necessary for the website to work, for example so that images are shown at a size suited to your screen. We do not use analytics or advertising tracking cookies. Third party cookies may be used by the Google services listed above. You can restrict or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • ask what data we process about you and get a copy of it
  • have incorrect or incomplete data corrected
  • have your data erased
  • restrict the processing of your data
  • object when we process data on the basis of legitimate interest
  • receive your data in a machine readable format or have it transferred to another controller

If you would like to use your rights, write to us at psyhead@gmail.com. We will reply within one month at the latest.

If you believe we have processed your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon): www.aki.ee
